Prevent Getting Flu?

1. Wash your hands!
Usually viruses are spread by direct contact with a person already affected. For example, if you have flu, sneezing in your hand and then get your hands on your phone to a glass, etc.. Germs can survive for hours – in some cases even weeks – and are taken by the next person who comes in contact with them. Therefore, it is recommended to wash your hands often, or rub your hands for a minute or more. Is a useful method to prevent infection. Another method is to use wet or antibacterial gels.
2. Use napkins when sneezing or coughing!
When sneezing or coughing, cover your mouth not only with the hand. Germs remain on your hands and you send them more easily. If you do not have one napkins, turn your head away somewhere and sneezing / coughing without your hands on your nose / mouth.
3. Do not touch your face!
Viruses enter the body through your eyes, nose, or mouth.
4. Drink plenty of fluids!
Purify body fluids, helping to eliminate toxic substances and optimal hydration. Usually, an adult needs eight glasses of water daily to maintain a perfect body hydrated. How to know if you are drinking enough water? If the urine is almost colorless, you’re well hydrated. If there is a darker yellow, then you need to consume more fluids.
5. Sauna can help!
Researchers do not know the exact role saunas can play in preventing a possible cold, but in a 1999 study in Germany showed that people who went to the sauna for at least two times a week have less risk of contacting a cold or flu. One theory might be that the warmer air in the sauna – 80 inhaling degrees, this temperature is too high to survive viruses.
6. Clean air has a very important role!
Even if it’s very cold outside, a dose of fresh air will strengthen your body and it will protect against viruses.
7. Eat foods containing phytochemicals!
So chew fruits and vegetables of all colors.
8. Yogurt protects you from cold!
According to some studies found that drinking a cup of yogurt daily can reduce up to 25% risk of contacting a cold.
9. Quit smoking!
Research shows that smokers shows a severe form of disease.
10. Limit alcohol!
Alcohol abuse destroys the liver, the main body’s natural filter which means that germs will stay longer in the body. Result: frequent infections and complications.
